I live in a world of death, (where) I can't find a place for myself.
I was the only one who stayed, watching all hope fade.

So many former friends unlearned what it meant to be alive,
not just to pretend to live while they barely exist.

There is no right life in the wrong one.
I never wanted to live their numbing life gone wrong:

They waste their time in pointless jobs.
They get addicted, they drink a lot.
They beat and hurt the ones they love.
They stumble and give up when things get tough.

They'll die alone, enslaved by drugs

We all are casualties.
Numb, hurt and blind.
